Fall Colors for 2009

The dusty color trend for Fall 2009 as predicted by Pantone for this season show warm, gray tones. In vintage, this look has been used before, and we can locate a few examples in our Etsy shop. They are a nice change from our summer brights, and help us to get into the mood for autumn.

But it's October now, and we already knew that pumpkin, warm squash, foggy gray mornings and muted sunsets were in our future this month.
Happy pumpkin days ahead!

Love your blog!!

I'm trying to find biographical information on Lou Taylor (handbags). I have searched the internet, but didn't find much. Any ideas? Thanks much~

Protector: The location of the business is important for research. Local newspapers usually carry some sort of info on regional work. Also, public libraries have great internet resources, often local newspaper archives etc. Local colleges may also have archives. I was able to work with a regional museum archives which helped too.
